Edgar Allan Poe

Some writers belong on the bookshelf as much as in it.

Poe’s name carries its own atmosphere: The Raven, decaying houses, unreliable minds and the darker edge of nineteenth-century literature. He helped shape the macabre and psychological Gothic tradition that still follows his work today, so the subject needs very little invention around it.

The bust is designed to sit comfortably in that world. An aged bronze-effect finish gives it the character of a traditional literary portrait rather than novelty horror décor, making it an easy companion to a library, reading room, Dark Academia interior or a collection built around writers who left a darker mark.
